Caroline Oldfather

Voice

Caroline Oldfather recently graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Music. She has taught beginner voice lessons throughout college and has tutored students in theory and aural skills.

She has performed several lead roles including Hansel in Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck, Lucy in The Telephone by Menotti, Taylor in The New Normal by Roberto Mancusi and Mark Simmons, and most recently Olympia in The Tales of Hoffman by Offenbach. She has performed in master classes for Tom Cipullo and Angela Brown. She has also completed several of the vocal and theory exams with both The Royal Conservatory and ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music).

She has also competed and placed in many vocal competitions. She has won 1st place for 1st Year College Treble in the 2019 Memphis Chapter NATS Vocal Competition, 2nd place for the 2nd Year College Treble in the 2020 TN State Chapter NATS vocal competition. 1st place for both the College Aria and Art Song categories in the 2021 Death by Voice Competition, and 1st place in the College Senior Women category for the 2022 TN State Chapter NATS Vocal Competition. She is looking forward to sharing her love and passion for music with her students.
