The World Goes 'Round is a celebration of the extended and fruitful collaboration of the songwriting team John Kander and Fred Ebb. Their work is marked by sharp wit and heart-felt sentiment. The World Goes 'Round is not the typical revue, as it is treated as a book musical with each song revealing a story and providing a glimpse into the world of a specific character. The duo is best known for shows such as; "Cabaret" and "Chicago" as well as the songs they wrote specifically for Liza Minelli. Please join Ars Nova for their production of this wonderful musical revue February 4 - 14 at the Nova Theatre. For information call (256) 883-1105.

About the Writers
Kander and Ebb were a highly successful songwriting team consisting of composer John Kander (born March 18, 1927) and lyricist Fred Ebb (April 8, 1933 - September 11, 2004). Known primarily for their stage musicals, Kander and Ebb also scored several movies including their most famous song, the theme song from Martin Scorsese's New York, New York. Recorded by many artists, "New York, New York" became a signature song for Frank Sinatra. The team also became associated with two actresses, Liza Minnelli and Chita Rivera, for whom they wrote a considerable amount of material for the stage, concerts and television.
