Encore Circle Information
Ars Nova, Inc., is a non-profit organization which has a two-fold mission. The corporation operates Ars Nova School of the Arts, providing musical and theatrical education for children and adults of all ages.
To continue the development of advanced students and faculty, Ars Nova offers productions in the VBC Playhouse and other local performance venues. It is Ars Nova’s goal and mission to nurture excellence in the student and enhance the community’s cultural awareness with outstanding presentations in opera, operetta and musical theatre.
Friends of Ars Nova organized the Encore Circle in 2004 as an avenue for the community to help finance productions. Past generous donations have allowed Ars Nova to successfully produce opera and operetta classics including Don Giovanni, The Mikado, The Merry Widow, Cosi fan Tutte, Don Pasquale, Carmen, and Madama Butterfly, musical theatre favorites including My Fair Lady, Hello, Dolly! and Beauty and the Beast and children’s shows including Really Rosie, Sid the Serpent, Flat Stanley, musical adaptations of Dr. Seuss works and Disney shows. In 2014, The Voices of Terezin gave our community the opportunity to know the remarkable Holocaust survivor, Ela Weissberger, and experience the music that gave her hope and strength to survive the Nazi concentration camp, Teresienstadt.
Ars Nova School of the Arts is seeking sponsorships and renewals for Encore Circle 2016. Consider making donations to the Encore Circle in honor or memory of family or friends who love opera and musical theatre. We also encourage corporate sponsorships and advertising. If your place of business matches charitable contributions, you could double your gift. Ars Nova looks forward to hearing from new members as well as renewing members. Your donation will make a significant difference in the production of this wonderful art form.
Ars Nova is a non-profit organization with a 501c3 status; therefore, your contribution is tax deductible.
