For children in grades 1 through 5, the drama facet will include characterization, acting games and techniques in state makeup, elocution, projection, breathing techniques, and visualization tools. The creative writing overview will incorporate basic creative writing techniques applicable to all genres but also includes some specialization in the genres of playwriting, character enhancement, poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction/essays and songwriting.

Led by Ron Harris, this class teaches acting techniques and skills from the beginner to the advanced. Class time and schedule will be made after couples are chosen and partners set. Classes meet once a week and perform at the end of the semester for a workshop where the community is invited. Call 883-1105 to set up an audition time.
Middle School class on Wednesday's from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
High School class on Wednesday's from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Classes will explore all aspects of musical theatre performance including character development using voice and body, musical theatre dance steps based on student ability, and successful auditioning. As part of the completion of this course, students will prepare for a mock audition and will perform for a panel of local directors.
